Medusa Sunbeach Festival is one of those festivals that never tries to stay discreet. This is not an intimate festival or a quiet discovery experience. The festival began in 2014 on Cullera Beach, south of Valencia, and grew into one of Spain’s major electronic events. Its identity rests on a very clear element: every edition works like a themed universe. Medusa does not simply build screens and DJ booths; it creates stages with visual narrative, fantasy, creatures, imaginary worlds and an aesthetic designed to impress even before the first drop lands. That edition was canceled after strong winds caused serious structural damage, one death and numerous injuries. Since then, any responsible description of Medusa has to recognize both its festive scale and the importance of safety in events of that size.
