Membrain Festival

Membrain Festival was a bass weekend on the Martinska peninsula, across from Šibenik, on the Dalmatian coast. The house about page places it there since 2016, among pines and the Adriatic, with subwoofers and food cooked on the grounds. The ticket is issued by Driftkikker Productions, at Morslaan 27, 2332XK Leiden, chamber number 28078356. Croatian papers name Davor Dedić, from Split and with an address in Amsterdam, together with the PARK organisation of Šibenik. The site homepage now prints that there is no active transmission. Music Festival Wizard marks the summer of 2026 as cancelled.

The weekend a recap closes is 31 July to 3 August 2025, the tenth. Siguran izlazak writes that it was held at the Martinska camp, at the entrance to the Šibenik channel. Four days, several stages, handmade sound systems. The piece walks through drum and bass, dubstep, grime, dub, jungle, minimal, liquid and garage. Its Cooling zone, inside the Siguran izlazak programme, handed out water, care packs and an advice stall. Pozitivan ritam, closing the peninsula's season, repeats those dates and the tenth. They publish no turnstile.

The questions page describes the day. The festival pass, the weekend pass and the group pass include Robinson camping under the pines, away from the systems, first come, with no plot reserved. They do not lend a tent. Tap water at the camp is for cooking and showers, not for drinking: drinking water is at the bars or in a bottle you carry. Chemical toilets and showers stand at the camp and on the grounds. Open fire is forbidden in the pine wood. A small camping stove is allowed, used with care. Motorhomes ask for a slot before they arrive. At the door the electronic ticket becomes a wristband. Security checks on every entry. No food or drink comes in, except water. The grounds are for people of 18 and over, and a minor comes in with an adult. They do not tolerate aggression, violence, homophobia or discrimination. Payment is in tokens. There is no cash machine. A card works at the door and at the token stand. The FAQ calls Martinska a UNESCO-protected natural place and asks people not to throw rubbish into the sea.

The boat leaves from the Šibenik promenade: the berth is marked with a flag on the pier, and a speed boat runs if time is short. Taxi or Uber also. By car, from Zagreb, Rijeka or Istria, the motorway toward Šibenik, exit 20 at Pirovac, then Jadrija and Martinska. From Split, exit 22 and the Šibenik bridge. Split and Zadar airports sit about 70 kilometres away. There are scheduled coaches. The train reaches Šibenik from Zagreb or Split. The car stays in front of the entrance, leaving room for emergency vehicles, or on a slice of the grounds that the FAQ keeps apart from the tents. They advise against parking in the pines. Anyone not camping sleeps in a hotel, a hostel or a flat in the city, booked ahead, because summer fills Šibenik.

tportal, on 29 July 2024, announces the ninth for 1 to 4 August on the same cape, with two stages and more than eighty names, on handmade systems, and with free camping in the pine wood. The photo on that note is Martinska in 2023. A house page dated 3 January 2025 says that on 31 August 2024 Dragan died, a partner and a host, and that the crew would mark 2025 in his name. The 2025 pieces remember him. The house says it began in 2016. The papers call 2024 the ninth and 2025 the tenth. These sheets do not close which summer is missing from that count.

The timetable page on the site still prints four days. Thursday and Saturday start in the evening. Friday and Sunday start in the afternoon. On that sheet the sets cross the night and stop around half past five in the morning. The about page speaks of iodine in the Adriatic water, of shade under the pines, and of vegan, vegetarian and omnivore plates cooked from local ingredients. A booking note on the questions page says a slice of the grounds was opened to cars so the pines could stay free for tents. The wristband stays on for the days printed on that pass. The bed on the pass was a tent under the pines, or a bed in the city. The short way was the boat from the promenade. These sheets close no other four-day weekend after 3 August 2025. The homepage no longer prints an active transmission.
