Festival No. 6

À propos du Festival

Festival No. 6 was an annual music and arts festival that took place in the picturesque village of Portmeirion in North Wales. The festival first launched in 2012 and continued until 2018, attracting a diverse range of performers and visitors each year. Festival-goers could enjoy an eclectic lineup of music, including rock, indie, electronic, and folk, as well as talks, comedy, and other cultural events.

One of the unique features of Festival No. 6 was its location in Portmeirion, a beautiful Italianate village on the coast of North Wales. The village was created in the early 20th century by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, who wanted to create a picturesque, Mediterranean-style destination in the heart of rural Wales. Festival-goers could explore the village's stunning architecture and gardens, as well as the surrounding countryside and coastline.

Festival No. 6 also had a reputation for its innovative and immersive programming, which went beyond the usual music festival offerings. The festival featured a "Lost in the Woods" stage, where performers played in a secluded clearing in the forest, as well as a floating dance floor on the village's estuary. In addition to music, the festival offered talks, workshops, and activities related to literature, science, and art, making it a unique cultural experience for attendees.
