Made Festival (FR)

Made Festival (FR) is a techno and house festival that began from 12 to 15 May 2016 in Rennes, France, in Ille-et-Vilaine. Ouest-France and 20 Minutes placed that first run: Surgeon, Detroit Swindle, Antigone, DJ Pierre, Len Faki, Kollectiv Turmstrasse and DVS1. Saturday took Musik hall, with a 7,000 capacity. Friday played at 1988 Live Club. Association Dancing Robots, founded in February 2009, signed the cycle. Remy Gourlaouen and Thomas Mahe spoke of leaving the clubs. Techno measured the ear from that May.

Gourlaouen told 20 Minutes they had looked at Panoramas in Morlaix, Astropolis in Brest and Scopitone in Nantes and that Rennes asked for a cycle of its own. Dancing Robots had almost always filled clubs since 2009. 12 May 2016 also opened Mail Mitterrand, marche des Lices, Jardin moderne, parc des Gayeulles and Hotel Pasteur, with sets, shows and visual art. In 2018 the cycle closed in deficit. Jeff Mills headlined that run. Ouest-France cited the rail strike and the school-holiday shift. From 23 to 26 May 2019 the next run was held: 5,000 people expected at Gayeulles and 11,000 at Musik-hall. Hall entry fell from 55 to 35 euros in pre-sale. The pass for 1988, Gayeulles and Musik-hall cost 40 euros. Gourlaouen said they would run the bars themselves. The Sunday after was posted under canvas at La Courrouze, with local DJs. House took those May parks.

Unidivers put about 8,000 dancers in 2022. From 25 to 28 May 2023 Thursday opened in about ten bars. 1988 opened three rooms and nine artists. Saturday, Gayeulles from 15:00 to 20:30. Parc des expositions closed the night. A Grand Ouest springboard sat on the bill. From 23 to 26 May 2024 the run sat at 1988, Gayeulles, Glaz Arena, Ferme de Quince and nine bars: Bar Expo, Penny Lane, La Bonne Nouvelle, Bistrot Cocagne, Uzine, Les Grands Gamins, Cafe des Champs Libres and Morex Custom House. Thomas Mahe told Ouest-France the cycle turns around 15,000 people. Ki/Ki played Saturday 25 at Glaz. Emma B. played the afternoon at Gayeulles. 1988 opened three rooms of about 400, 00:30 to 06:00, at 20 euros. The first Thursday of 2016 also ran daytime sets. The 2024 off bars ran Friday 15:00 to 03:00 and Sunday 12:00 to 22:00, per Thomas Mahe. The 2025 Sunday at Morex stayed free.

From 22 to 25 May 2025 the cycle already took place. On 11 March the Friday 23 night at 1988 was cancelled. Saturday 24, Gayeulles 15:00 to 22:00 expected near 4,000, per Remy Gourlaouen in Ouest-France: the only star is the music. On stage 1, DJ Sweet6teen, DJ Swisherman, Jean Paul Grouve, Theus Mago and T.O.M. On stage 2, rev.art, Rose Bonheur, Sawsick live, Sowe and Viril. Night continued at Glaz Arena in Cesson-Sevigne with Anetha, Audrey Danza, Boston 168 live, Elli Acula and Lazine. Sunday, Morex Custom House in Vezin-le-Coquet, 15:00 to 22:30, free entry. STAR drops Glaz at Rigourdiere, lines C6 and 67.

From 21 to 25 May 2026 the cycle already took place. Festival en France marked it Termine. Hyperaktivist, Innershade, Radio Slave, Setaoc Mass, Tal Fussman, Zaatar, Sha Ru, Anetha, Audrey Danza, DJ Sweet6teen, Theus Mago, Jean-Paul Grouve, Aghata, Blat, Blooming Again and Gisele Kerozen sat on the bill. Saturday 23, at 22:00, L Etage gathered Zaatar, Sha Ru and crew Comme ca, from 15 euros, per JDS. Gayeulles started at 17 euros, Glaz at 35 and the Saturday pass at 50. 12 May 2016 pins the first run. Dancing Robots pins the producer. Gayeulles, Glaz and 1988 pin the map.
