Metronome Prague

Metronome Prague is the outdoor music weekend that the producer Metronome Production s.r.o. mounts in Prague. David Gaydečka and Martin Voňka are listed on the contacts page as the producers. The company keeps its office at Terronská 873/3, 160 00 Praha 6, company number 04658639 and tax number CZ04658639. A register dates the firm to 11 January 2016. The weekend the visits close is 19, 20 and 21 June 2026, at Letňany airport. The reviews call it the tenth birthday and the first move, after years at the Výstaviště in Holešovice. If one summer is counted for every year since 2016, that June does not land on the tenth. Both counts stay as printed.

The question sheet, written before the gates, describes how you get in. The surroundings are closed to cars. It recommends a park-and-ride and metro line C to Letňany, the station next to the door. Before the check you swap the ticket for a wristband at the banding desk. With that band you can leave and come back, and you pay inside. Sales on the grounds are cashless, through the NFCtron band, which can be topped up online. Merchandise takes cash or a card. Bags that come in stay within A4 size. A cloakroom with a short quota holds larger luggage. Food runs under the name Fresh Festival. The grounds open on Friday at 13:00 and on Saturday and Sunday at 12:00. It is open air: an umbrella does not come in, a raincoat does, and shoes should hold on grass. The ticket mail is tickets@metronome.cz. A service charge of 90 crowns is added to the ticket. A visit dated 29 June says Friday's programme started shortly after 14:00. The opening hour and the hour of the first song are not the same.

That visit, signed by Marie Saláková, counts three stages on a wide plain: the main one, a smaller one named Cupra Pulse, and the farthest, which she calls the Live Nation Stage. She speaks of thirty-two names over three days. That is not a running order. The heat left the field half empty in the afternoon and the crowd arrived with the closers. Friday was closed by Tom Odell, piano and livelier songs. Saturday was Nick Cave with The Bad Seeds, about two and a half hours, stepping down into the front rows. Seznam Zprávy places the concert on 20 June, with no rain despite the forecast, and recalls that Cave had already played the Výstaviště in 2022. Sunday was closed by Sting, on the tour the review calls STING 3.0, with his own songs and songs from The Police. The figures do not measure the same gate. Musicserver, on Friday, speaks of hundreds rather than thousands on the hot plain. Seznam, on Saturday, speaks of higher thousands and still of a smaller order than the big concerts at Letňany. Public television estimates lower thousands at the end of each night and seated stands half empty.

The same magazine headlines that June as the first time under Live Nation. The ticket notice says the festival is organised in cooperation with Live Nation Czech Republic. Expres, on 22 June, records someone writing that Live Nation killed the soul of the festival with the move, and someone answering that Live Nation only sponsored one of the smaller stages. The far stage in the visit carries that name. The three sentences do not name the same person in charge. The visit misses debates and workshops that other years did have, and it keeps the art installations and the rest zones. The food, it says, stepped up from the zone the festival already looked after. Saláková's closing judgment is that the bill was strong and the field, because of the heat and the size, was without a soul for a good part of the day. She does not lay that only on the producer.

The first weekend is earlier. A 2016 wire announces the debut on 25 June at the Výstaviště in Holešovice, the same weekend as United Islands of Prague, which charges no admission. Hospodářské noviny places it on the 25th and the 26th, on the fairground and on a piece of Stromovka, with a tent village. They expected between 10,000 and 15,000 people. That is a calculation from before the doors. The budget that year was 40 million crowns, with no grant from Prague. The partner the paper names is Libor Winkler, of RSJ. Gaydečka and Voňka had run United Islands for thirteen years. An earlier trial of charging admission on the islands had left debts. The archive page the site titles 2016 prints at the top the date 25 and 26 June 2022 and, underneath, the account of the first year: 15,000 visitors, four stages and 30 names, with Iggy Pop at the head. The date on that line and the year in the title do not match. Tickets on that sheet run from 0 to 1,600 crowns. That is the sheet's range, not the Letňany price. In the wire, Gaydečka says they had a plan through 2023.

Sleep is in the city. The 2026 sheet does not print camping. The tent village belongs to the 2016 Stromovka notice. The official site is kept. There is in these sheets no weekend with closed doors after 21 June 2026. Later items on the homepage are single concerts and an app, not another weekend at the airport.
