Metalfest Open Air

Metalfest Open Air is the open-air metal weekend at the Lochotín amphitheatre in Plzeň, at Pod Vinicemi 928/6, postcode 301 00. PRAGOKONCERT BOHEMIA, a.s. organises it, company number 25318136 and VAT number CZ25318136. The Prague desk is at Polská 54, postcode 120 00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00, phone +420 777 701 584, and it takes cash only. Another desk is at the Masters of Rock café, Tyršovo nábřeží 5497, in Zlín, postcode 760 01, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, phone +420 777 701 592, also cash. The ground is a natural amphitheatre in a park, with meadows, beside the city zoo and one kilometre as the crow flies from the historic centre. The old sheets say the place became known through the folk festival Porta.

The first sheet prints the first year on 21, 22 and 23 May 2010, with bands from fourteen countries and the largest block from Scandinavia. A review dated 30 May closes Friday 21 in that amphitheatre and gives no turnstile. The sheet for the following summer calls the gathering the second and places it from 3 to 5 June 2011. A 2015 sheet calls it the sixth, from 5 to 7 June, and says the amphitheatre was finishing a large rebuild, with the stage in view from every point. The three-day pass on that sheet was 990 crowns until the end of April or until a short run sold out. It was collected cash on delivery, at the office of that time at U Bulhara 3 in Prague, at the café in Zlín, and through ticket networks. That Prague address belongs to 2015. The desk now is the one on Polská.

The summer whose hour-by-hour sheet is printed and already behind us is 6 to 8 June 2025. The organiser's page calls that summer the fourteenth and, in the title, writes 3 to 8 June. The body says Friday to Sunday, 6 to 8. The two clocks do not measure the same days. The PDF sets Friday from 12:30 to 23:00 and Saturday from 10:30. Sunday on that PDF starts at 11:45. Another sheet for the same Sunday starts at 10:30. It is not the same clock. Both sheets add signings in half-hour windows, beside the music. Children under three get in free. From age three a full-price ticket is required. Someone under 15 comes in with an adult. Those rules are on the 2025 sheet and they repeat on the 2026 sheet.

The 2026 sheet announces 5 to 7 June and calls it the fifteenth. The text still says the gathering is about to happen and that the online order is no longer processed: the ticket is bought at the hall and in cash only. It also announces campsite places, parking and a zone of furnished tents called Chill Village, with services and parking included. A note of 7 May 2026 publishes the signing hours and says the prices then were valid until the end of May, on the site and on Ticketportal, Ticketmaster and NFCtron. The 2025 sheet named Ticketportal, Ticketstream, Plzeňská vstupenka and NFCtron. These pages bring no visit from after those June 2026 doors.

Neither desk takes a card. A person who wants to pay in those rooms comes on a weekday, inside the printed hours. When the online shop stops, the page sends the buyer to the hall, still in cash. The homepage, today, sells a later June and calls it the sixteenth. It also puts a separate concert on sale for the day before that later weekend, on its own ticket. That night is a sale line. These papers do not close its doors. The page prints 2,900 crowns for three days, a price valid until 30 September 2026 or until a quota runs out. It prints 1,890 crowns for one concert day, with a deadline that falls after the autumn of 2026. Each figure lasts until a printed deadline or until a limited pack ends. They are not a count of people at the gate. That block is a sale page, not a lived night. The first printed year is 2010 and the 2025 sheet says fourteenth. If every June had counted, the numbers would not match. These sheets do not say which summers are missing.

Sleep is on the camp sold with the pass, in one's own tent or, on the 2026 announcement, in a furnished tent in Chill Village. A bed in the city also fits, a kilometre from the centre. The official address is kept. These sheets close the summer of 2025 with hours. June 2026 stays announced, with the box office moved to cash, and the June the homepage sells now has no closed doors in these papers.
