Moondance Festival

Moondance Festival is the techno weekend inside Kamerlengo Fortress, in Trogir, on the Dalmatian coast. A listing gives the address as Obala bana Berislavića, 21220. The sea surrounds the city. The dancing is between stone walls and under an open sky. The edition the papers tell is the thirteenth, Friday 24 and Saturday 25 July 2026. Both nights, on the sheet and in the announcement of 16 July, start at 9 p.m. and run until 5 a.m. It has run for more than a decade. The page does not print the year of the first day.

Klubska Scena publishes on 27 July 2026 the first photos, by Dušan Mitić, and says the festival was held that weekend in the fortress. Of the first night it names Alexander Kowalski, Adrianna, DJ Jock, Chicago Riders, Coyya, Tome R with DJ Pasta, and Skarros. That list matches the names on the Friday timetable on the company page. The timetable sets the order: Skarros from 9 to 10 p.m., Tome R with DJ Pasta from 10 to 11 p.m., Coyya from 11 p.m. to midnight, Chicago Riders Live from midnight to 1 a.m., DJ Jock from 1 to 2 a.m., Kowalski from 2 to 3:30 a.m. and Adrianna from 3:30 to 5 a.m. The photo confirms the names. The order is the sheet's.

On Saturday the same sheet closes with The Advent from 2 to 3:30 a.m. and Saytek Live from 3:30 to 5 a.m. Before them come Anatolija, ChanoVski, Marko Vuletić, Beko and Teo Harouda. The artist list on the page spells Chanovski, with another spelling. Klubska Scena does not detail that second night. Those hours stay as a published timetable, not as an exit review. The Advent, in the text of 16 July, is the project of Cisco Ferreira, tied in that text to Berghain and to Tresor. Saytek, in the same text, has played live for twenty years on drum machines, improvising each set. Kowalski is described there as a Berlin name. DJ Jock is described as the Croatian peak-time name. Those sentences are the announcement's.

The text of 16 July offers a 50 percent discount for the regional audience until 22 July, and a prize draw until the 20th. Tickets, on the Insite listing, go through Entrio. That listing marks the event as already past. The backers the announcement names are HDS ZAMP, Split-Dalmatia County, the county tourist board, the city of Trogir and the city's tourist board. These papers do not give the name of the person who signs the bill.

The company page speaks of walls that hold the bass, of open sky and of smoke. The dancing lasts until sunrise. There is no camp in these sheets: the fortress closes at five in the morning and the city is on the other side of the wall. The audience the announcement describes is not looking for fireworks. It is looking for the sound system. The page calls the place an underground gathering on the Adriatic and says that in 2026 the fortress is again the launch point. The announcement of 16 July credits Adrianna with club tracks that, according to that text, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati and Charlotte de Witte have backed. The same text says pieces by DJ Jock turn up in sets by Carl Cox, by Adam Beyer and by Amelie Lens. Chicago Riders Live sits on the Friday timetable, across midnight, and on the first-night list. The page gives no capacity and no full ticket price: only the regional discount. It gives no map of the bars. The listing marks the dates as past and sends the tickets to Entrio. The second night has, in these papers, no witness beyond the timetable. The first night does have photos and names. The dancing the house describes is after midnight, with machines, inside the walled grounds. At five the fortress closes and people step out into the street in Trogir with the sky already light.

The weekend that was walked is 24 and 25 July 2026. The night with photos and names is Friday's. Saturday's is on the timetable and not in the photo write-up. The thirteenth has already happened. The page does not announce another date in the texts used here. The company page heads the fortress as the place of the techno and speaks of towers, of the moon and of smoke over the floor. The photo piece and the homepage agree on the number thirteen. No headcount is printed. No full ticket price is printed. The person who signs the bill is not named, and the year of the first day is not named. Friday has the names the photos confirm. Saturday stays the sheet.
