The Cure brought that emotional darkness that crosses generations; Blur, a British story full of guitars, irony, and huge choruses; Pet Shop Boys, the electronic sophistication of artists who can make you dance with sadness; and Beck, that chameleonic ability to change shape without losing identity. This was a lineup that did not only speak to the present: it activated personal biographies.

What makes Primavera Sound Buenos Aires interesting is that, in Argentina, concerts are rarely just concerts. There is a local way of living music that amplifies everything. The audience sings loudly, waits intensely, demands, gets emotional, compares, remembers other visits, other nights, other records, other eras.
