Osheaga is the music weekend at Parc Jean-Drapeau, in Montreal, on Saint Helen's Island. Evenko presents it. Nick Farkas is co-founder and senior vice president of concerts. The site osheaga.com, read on 28 September 2026, still titles 31 July to 2 August 2026. Those dates have already passed. The weekend with closed titles is 1 to 3 August 2025.

Wikipedia puts the first edition on Labour Day weekend, 2 and 3 September 2006, two days, and calls it a music and arts festival. Farkas was then buying concerts for Gillett Entertainment Group. Pollstar, on 27 August 2015, leaves it founded in 2006, with bosses Jacques Aube and George Gillette, and a team of fewer than 20 people. The same piece says people could not pronounce the name, that Coldplay arrived in the fourth year, and that they then moved to the August long weekend, the first Monday. Eminem came after that change. After the sale of Gillett, the festival passed to Evenko and Farkas stayed in charge. Billboard Canada writes that Evenko is the biggest promoter in Quebec, majority-owned by Groupe CH, owner of the Canadiens and the Bell Centre, and partly by Live Nation. Pollstar, on 30 July 2026, dates the Live Nation deal to 2019. The same text says year 19 and, in a sentence from Farkas, 20 years of doing the festival. 2006, year 19 and the 20 years stay together.

In 2010, Wikipedia splits the tickets like this: about 30 percent from Montreal, 20 from Ontario and 12 from the United States. Pollstar, in 2015, says 65 percent came from outside the province. Billboard, in the booking piece, says about 60 percent come from outside Quebec and more than 40 from Ontario, and that the turn to three days and one week later, to the first weekend in August, was in 2011 with Eminem. The percentages stay with their year. Farkas, in 2015, puts the island about 10 minutes from downtown by subway.

The 2025 count is signed by Richard Trapunski in Billboard Canada. From 1 to 3 August, 142,000 people. Saturday 2 August sold out. The year before, near a record of 147,000. The same weekend, in Chicago, is Lollapalooza, with several of the same names. There were cuts: Gracie Abrams, for rain, and Doechii, for time. V13, who arrived on Friday the 1st by metro, puts Doechii in a Canadian debut, a mossy forest stage, and the song Nosebleeds. It writes that the 23:00 curfew tried to cut her, that she flipped off the clock and walked off. The two versions of the cut stay together. Alex Warren, Saturday at 15:00, sang Ordinary. Trapunski writes that he was booked before the song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Shaboozey and he met backstage. A Bar Song (Tipsy), by Shaboozey, had peaked in Canada first: that is the critic's sentence about the song, not a list of what sounded that afternoon. The Beaches, on Sunday the 3rd, in the biggest type on the poster, with Blame Brett. Trapunski says they had already been twice, one of those times in 2018, and the other year does not load in the paragraph.

REVERIE walks Sunday. Cage the Elephant opens with Broken Boy and follows with Trouble, Back Against the Wall, Shake Me Down, Cigarette Daydreams and Come a Little Closer. Matt Shultz throws himself across the stage. Olivia Rodrigo comes in with We Got the Beat, by The Go-Go's, on tape, and follows with Obsessed. The critic names Traitor, Drivers License, Deja Vu and Vampire, and closes by screaming the last note of get him back!. Silver corset dress. Toronto Guardian opens Friday with The Killers and Mr. Brightside. It puts Gracie Abrams on the Mountain Stage, The Chainsmokers on the Valley Stage with the set cut by a storm, and Tyler, The Creator closing on the River Stage. V13 writes Bell River Stage: Tyler in powder blue, an aquarium set, Big Poe with fireworks and Sugar On My Tongue, on wet ground. The two stage names stay together. The Guardian calls 3 August a Saturday. The 2025 calendar puts it on Sunday. Jamie xx is on the Forest Stage. Chet Faker and Drop the Game appear in that same report as what sounded. Kaleo and Way Down We Go, and Tommy Richman and Million Dollar Baby, appear as the artist's card, not as a song marked from the night.

Pollstar, on 30 July 2026, expects 50,000 people a day and puts Lorde, Tate McRae and Twenty One Pilots at the top of the bill. That is the announcement of the day before, not the night. Wikipedia writes that the weekend took place and that those three headlined. The expectation and the encyclopedia line stay together, with no 2026 title marked in a review. Farkas names Lasso, a country event, and IlleSoniq beside it. Billboard writes ÎleSoniq. The two spellings stay together. No later year is printed here.
