Rock am Härtsfeldsee

Rock am Härtsfeldsee is the rock and metal weekend in a tent by the Härtsfeldsee, in Dischingen, in Baden-Württemberg. The Verein Jugend Dischingen puts it on, as volunteers. The festival has been at that lake since 1997. The weekend of 26 and 27 June 2026 was the 28th. On 28 June 2026 the crew gives thanks for a sold-out week, with sun and high heat, and already looks at a June weekend that has not taken place, plus a sale that opens on a later 1 November.

A winter evening in 1995: eleven boys and girls, from 16 to 18, found the Verein Jugend Dischingen. There were parties before at the Karlsbrunnen in Dischingen, that the authority banned them, and that in 1995 and 1996 there were club events before the first festival date, in 1997, already at the lake. The first years were a tent, cover bands from the area, a long bar and cheap drink. In 2003 In Extremo was there. In 2006, Alice Cooper. The club has its birthday on 30 December 1995. The club's 25th party was shifted two years because of the pandemic. There are about 45 members. Eberhardt speaks of more than 50 children. There are more than 47 members, from 18 to 50. 2026 is the 28th.

Julia Mayer, on 28 June 2026, walks the weekend already closed: about 4,000 people, record heat, the lake to cool off, a tractor with a shower in the camping, sunglasses and caps at the T-shirt stall, and the mayor of Dischingen, Dirk Schabel. Jens Eber, the same day, hears Lisa-Marie Watz, of April Art, shout from the tent Seid ihr alle noch ganz dicht? Feuerschwanz closes. There are ten bands.

Inquisitor and Thomas, on 19 July 2025, and Florian, on 30 July, walk Friday 27 June 2025. The gate opens at 17:00. My Merry Machine, which appears there as My Marry Machine, opens toward 17:25: a trio from the south, guitar, drums and voice, no bass. League of Distortion follows, with Anna Brunner, Ace, as Thomas calls her. The Raven Age, from London: George Harris on guitar, son of Steve Harris, and Matt James at the front, according to Florian. Orden Ogan comes on toward 20:15. Sauerland, by Zoff, plays as the entrance. Inquisitor names Fever, Heart of the Android, Order of Fear renamed that hour as Oder of Beer, Gunman, which the band asks people to film, and the close Things We Belive In. Thomas names Sebastian Levermann. Florian calls him Seeb and stays on Gunman, with the chorus Gunman, where do you go. Soulfly, with Max Cavalera, comes on late: Seek and Strike and Back to the Primitiv. Thomas sees them from outside, on the screen. Florian sees about 6,000 in the tent.

Eisbrecher closes Friday. Inquisitor and Thomas call him Alexander Wesselsky. Florian calls him Alexx Werselski. In Eiszeit, foam cannons and a polar-bear head. Waffen Waffen Waffen. In This Is Deutsch, a lectern and a Bavarian felt hat. Florian adds Himmel, Arsch und Zwirn and Sturmfahrt, and an acoustic Miststück, with red roses that still prick: the singer lets out an Au. Because of the delays, Friday ends toward 1:00. On Saturday the 28th, Voodoo Kiss opens. Inquisitor calls them Vodoo Kiss and they play The Bauty and the Beast, which at the start sounds to him like 2 Minuets to Midnight. Steffi Stuber, of Mission in Black, sings with them. Lacrimas Profundere: Julian Larre goes into the audience, climbs the frame and says Ich liebe euch Rock am Härtsfeldsee. Two girls from the pit go up on stage. Warkings: the Tribun, Georg Neuhauser, of Serenity, speaks in English, tries a Latin for Dischingen and switches to German with an Austrian accent. He brings up two daughters of the organizers. They play Sparta, Gladiator and, according to Florian, the new piece Armageddon. In a circle someone gets hurt and the band stops.

Versengold, from Bremen, covers The Devil Is a Woman, by Kissin' Dynamite, in folk, as The Devil Is a Barmaid. Thekenmädchen is played too. Florian names Malte and the bassist Eike, standing on a box in the middle of the audience, Die letzte Runde with lights, and the close Butter bei die Fische inside a circle. Kissin' Dynamite, Hannes Braun and Ande Braun, opens with a blast and DNA. In I Will Be King, Hannes comes out with a crown, a cape and a throne. Six Feet Under. The close Raise Your Glass he takes in a rubber boat over the hands. Inquisitor adds Queen of the Night, The Devil Is a Woman in the band's version, Not the End of the Road, where Hannes talks about depression, and You Are Not Alone, whose riff sits close to Sweet Dreams.
